At the beginning of class I returned graded work and collected the "Into the Woods" bonuses. Then the students completed TWM journal 4. Afterwards the class read TWM pgs. 32-40 ("The Classroom") and answered study questions 19-23.

At the beginning of class the students did a breathing exercise from "The Classroom" to demonstrate how sick Morrie has become. Then they completed TWM journal 5. (see Monday) Lastly they read "Taking Attendance" pgs. 41-47 and answered study questions 24, 25, and 27 (skipped #26).

At the beginning of class the students worked on TWM journal 6. (See Monday) Then they read "The First Tuesday" and "The Second Tuesday" pgs. 48-61 with study questions 29-31.

The students began class by answering TWM journal 7. They then turned in journals 4-7. Afterwards they read "The Third Tuesday" and "The Audiovisual part 2" on pgs. 62-72 and answered study question 32. They turned in study questions 19-32 (skip # 26) at the end of the period.

Today the class watched the "Nightline" interview with Morrie Schwartz that inspired the book we've been reading. They wrote down 15 interesting facts they learned from Morrie or about Morrie. They also wrote down 5 questions they would like to ask him. These were turned in at the end of class for a silver grade.
