NO SCHOOL - LABOR DAY

At the beginning of class I reviewed the AP Vocabulary list 1 terms in preparation for quiz B FRIDAY. Then we began presenting our group literary theory projects. The Reader Response group presented their theory, taught a lesson, and then applied the theory to The Kite Runner. Afterwards the students were given time to work on reading "Oedipus" pgs. 211-251 and answering the study questions.

Today we continued presenting our group literary theory projects. The Biographical/Historical group presented their theory, taught a lesson, and then applied the theory to Jane Eyre. Afterwards the students were given time to work on reading "Oedipus" pgs. 211-251 and answering the study questions.

Friday, September 11th 2015
I was not here today, so the students had a substitute. I expect nothing but exemplary behavior from the students. Today we had a slightly shorter schedule due to the pep rally.
