NO SCHOOL - TEACHER WORK DAY
Tuesday, October 13th, 2015
Today we worked on crafting a thesis statement. At the beginning of class I lectured on how to break down a prose writing prompt using the sample prose question they had already annotated last week. Then I gave a sample boring thesis. The students broke into pairs and I explained how to change a bad thesis into a descriptive one. They worked together to follow the steps and then they shared their new fully developed theses with the class.
